Bactrian Copper

Geophysics, then a tighter drill plan

Histroical geophysics has been analyse in detail. The work reprocessed gravity, magnetics, airborne electromagnetic data (VTEM and GEOTEM), and 2012 induced polarisation data, and set that against historical drilling and surface geochemistry.

At Spectrum North, gravity and magnetics define a major intrusive structure in a shear zone, a setting the review describes as permissive for IOCG mineralisation.

Copper targets on the Bactrian Project

The Bactrian Project (EPM 28463) is about 130 kilometres north of Cloncurry, in the Eastern Fold Belt of the Mount Isa Inlier. The same ground hosts the Bactrian graphite Mineral Resource.

Bactrian hosts the initial Copper targets, withcontinuing analysis of the further prospects across the Dromedary North tenement package.

Spectrum and Pigeon House

An independent review of more than 40 years of historical data has defined two drill-ready targets: Spectrum (formerly Suzie Wong) and Pigeon House. The review found geophysical support for an Ernest Henry-style iron oxide copper-gold (IOCG) model.

Historical work on the tenement includes surface rock chips, soil sampling, costean sampling, and earlier drilling. The September 2026 shareholder update reports historical rock chips of up to 17.2% copper, costean sampling of 14 metres at 3.2% copper, and a historical drill hole intersecting 8 metres at 1.01% copper.

Surface sampling has recorded copper oxides and carbonates, including malachite, and copper sulphides, including bornite, chalcopyrite, and covellite. That mix is consistent with a primary copper system, not only near-surface enrichment.
